Akari au Raa was a Gold, the progenitor of House Raa, and one of the founders of the Society.
History[]
He and Silenius au Lune were the leaders of the Conquering. He and Silenius had an unknown falling out, and Akari took to the Rim while Silenius stayed in the Core.
Akari's shield came to be used as a military honor, though not given to any Golds of the Core following the death of Silenius.[1]
Akari personally oversaw the beginning of Sungrave's construction,[2] and held the title of Hegemon of the Rim until his death.[3]
When Akari died, his tomb became a monument for the Raa family, and at their deaths, many make the trek to the Dragon Tomb.
Akari's legacy lived on through House Raa. In the Red Rising/Iron Gold era, his notable descendants include Romulus au Raa and Diomedes au Raa.
