Braga serves as Pax's chief bodyguard during his time at Eagle Rest. She spits at Ephraim and has distaste for her Queen's New Way. A weeping Braga is the one who raises the alert about the mysterious killing of the griffins in the Obsidian stables. When Ephraim escapes with Pax and Electra on the Snowball, Braga and Obsidians pursue in gravBoots but Braga is knocked down. When Ephraim returns to the Obsidians to warn Sefi about Xenophon, he devises a plan with the exiled Ozgard. Braga and other Valkyrie spot Ozgard and try to take him into custody but Ozgard puts on a distraction. Braga realizes it's a trap just before the hidden skuggi jump out of the mist and take down half the Valkyrie in order to free Valdir.
