Bridge is a Gray that works in the township of Lykos. He works as a guard and is the one who fetches Darrow and Eo from their cells and escorts them, in addition to standing by while they are whipped. On Podginus' orders, he is the one to gag Darrow before Eo starts singing
Personality[]
Bridge is described by Darrow as one of the kinder Tinpots. He is shown to be a sympathetic and gentle gray. Bridge would give Eo's mother inks to draw with.
Involvement[]
After Darrow and Eo were caught in the Grays' garden, Bridge was the one who took them out of the cells three days later for their whipping. He let them touch and be together for a few seconds.
Later, when Darrow was begging the ArchGoverner to give him Eo's lashes, Podginus orders Bridge to gag him, which he complies with.
After Eo sings the Forbidden Song and is being fitted with the noose to be hanged, Bridge removes the gag from Darrow as an act of kindness.
