Brutus au Arcos was a Gold of the Martian House Arcos, the youngest son of Lorn au Arcos and the father of Lysander au Lune.
Involvement[]
Pre-Saga[]
At some point before 733 PCE, Brutus married Anastasia au Lune, daughter of Octavia au Lune, and together had their son Lysander.[1]
Sometime before the beginning of the saga, Brutus became best friends with Atlas au Raa.[2]
Red Rising[]
Sometime during Darrow's year at The Institute,[3] Brutus and his wife were killed in a shuttle explosion caused by a bomb planted on their ship by Kalindora au San and Atalantia au Grimmus. Officially, the explosion was caused by an Outrider attack, but rumors persisted that Octavia had murdered them because Anastasia was plotting a coup against her. Their deaths contributed to his father's decision to retire and move House Arcos to Europa in 740 PCE.[4]
