Carvers are a type of Violet artist that specialize in the creation and alteration of organic tissue.
Abilities[]
Carvers most commonly provide body modifications such as regrowing or reattaching lost body parts, as well as cosmetic alterations and surgeries. The process is typically prohibitively expensive to all colors except Gold.[1] While illegal under The Society, carvers can also modify clients' reproductive systems to facilitate cross-color reproduction.[2][3]
Carvers are also capable of cloning new tissue from an existing source,[4] and are able to use this technology to create new lifeforms by combining DNA from multiple donors.[5] Many Golds commission Carvers to develop new creatures for them, which are colloquially known as Carvelings.
