Cassandra was a Gold highDraft to House Mars during Darrow's year at The Institute, where she followed the lead of Titus au Ladros. After Titus' death, she follows Antonia au Severus–Julii's rule.
Description[]
Cassandra was known as a prodigy pianist. During the Institute, she wears her hair short, with pieces of metal woven in. Darrow describes her as quiet and beautiful, though she is known to be spiteful. She rubs flowers over her skin in an effort to hide her body odor.
Involvement[]
Red Rising[]
When Darrow is fleeing House Mars after knocking Vixus out, of Titus's followers, Cassandra is the closest to capturing Darrow. From her post on the parapet, she almost intercepts him, an axe in hand, but is blindsided by Quinn and knocked down screaming in pain, allowing Darrow to escape. Cassandra is involved in Titus's violent raids of House Ceres.
After Titus dies, Cassandra joins Darrow's forces despite still hating Darrow. Vixus, Darrow, and Cassandra are the ones who pursue Mustang after House Minerva falls. Darrow spots Mustang, but not wanting her to get hurt, leads Cassandra and Vixus away. Later, Cassandra collaborates with Vixus and Antonia to trap Darrow by using Lea and Roque as bait. The three collaborators are given nightOptics by a Proctor but they fail in killing Darrow which results in Antonia slitting Lea's throat and the three fleeing House Mars.
After Darrow takes Olympus, he returns to House Mars and finds that Cassandra has died after being tied to a cross outside House Mars along with Antonia and Vixus au Sarna, for betraying Cassius au Bellona and House Mars, though Antonia and Vixus survived.
