Claudius au Augustus was a Gold of the Martian house Augustus and the firstborn child of Nero au Augustus. He was killed before the beginning of the saga after challenging Karnus au Bellona to a duel over the humiliation of his lover.Golden Son, Chapter 19

Claudius was considered to be honorable and a much better man than all of the Bellona heirs put together.

Sons of Ares[]
Nero has Claudius observe the live footage of Fitchner and Kavax putting down a Sons of Ares uprising in Nagasos. Claudius is eating dinner with his parents when Fitchner and Kavax return to report their results, and witnesses the news broadcast of the mission's success being interrupted by a recorded message from Ares.[1]

After their mother's death in 726 PCE, Claudius invited his younger sister Virginia places in order to comfort her.[2]

At Darrow's Triumph, Adrius reveals that he had paid Karnus to sully Claudius's girlfriend and kill him in the duel.[3]

Claudius was Nero's favorite child, to the point where Leto and later Darrow were chosen as Nero's preferred heirs after Claudius's death because of how similar they were to him.[4]

Claudius was beloved by his younger sister, and they often went fishing together with Pax au Telemanus.[5]
