Dano is a young Red from Earth and a member of Ephraim ti Horn's heist crew in Iron Gold.
Background, Personality, and Abilities[]
Dano is the cat on Ephraim's crew. He was recruited for his agility, flexibility and skills as a thief. He is described as a “human flea” by Ephraim, in reference to his extraordinary evasion methods. [1]
Dano is insecure about his weight, and compensates by acting overly cool and relaxed, projecting confidence. Dano was saved from imprisonment in Whitehold by Ephraim.

Ephraim recruited Dano when he was a teenager picking pockets on the Promenade level of Hyperion.[1]

Dano, Ephraim, Cyra and Volga take part in a heist in Hyperion’s Museum of Antiquities. During this heist Dano performs a number of impressive feats of skill and agility in order to steal Silenius au Lune’s razor from its case. Following the Razor Heist. Dano is seen wearing a shiny chronometer with rubies embedded in its hand. [2]
Dano is later seen in the company of his associates during the discussion of Ephraim’s mission to kidnap Pax and Electra. He is initially reluctant, though concedes after learning that they have little choice in the matter. During the scene where Lyria is accused of pick pocketing, it is later implied that Dano was the one who actually stole the bracelet, framing Lyria so that "Philippe" can come to her rescue. Dano is killed by Kavax when the gas doesn't fully subdue the huge man. Dano shoots the Gold twice in the chest, but Kavax kills him with just one punch. [3]
