Danto is a Gray of Legio XIII Dracones who tortures Darrow at the beginning of Morning Star.
Appearance[]
He's a veteran legionnaire, rough as a rusted sewer grate. He has tech black combat gear, with purple dragons coiled in faint filigree. Thermal vision optic implants in his eyes, embedded tech under his skin to help hunt Golds and Obsidians. He has a tattoo of an XIII with a moving sea dragon on his neck.[1]

Morning Star[]
He works for House Grimmus and tortures Darrow by scalping him, spraying him with a power hose, stomping on him, and being racist towards Darrow for being a lowcolor. Undercover Holiday persuades Danto to go easier on Darrow by saying that Aja wants Darrow in one piece. When Yellow doctors inspect Darrow after Danto's torture, Holiday and Trigg ti Nakamura then make their move to free Darrow. This results in Trigg knocking Danto down, saying "Ares sends his regards, motherfucker" and shooting Danto between the eyes.
