Red Rising[]
Darrow and Mustang find Dax and Milia au Trachus who are frostbitten and hungry after becoming Oathbreakers by running away as slaves from House Mars. Dax seems to follow whatever Milia says. At the promise of not being slaves, they agree to fight with Darrow and Mustang to take House Ceres.
During the assault on Castle Ceres, Dax is shot by an arrow by one of House Ceres' guards and "goes down bloodylike."
