Deanna O'Lykos is a lowRed from the Martian mining colony of Lykos. She is the mother of Darrow, Kieran and Leanna and the widow of Dale.

Deanna suffered at least one stroke at some point before the Lion's Rain, and has grown physically weaker as a result. However, she still has a strong personality, and is able to recognize Darrow when he returns to Lykos.
