At the Legion agoge, Demetrius bunked with ninety-nine other trainees, including Rhone ti Flavinius, Markus ti Lacrima, and Drusilla ti Pistris, whom he came to view as his family. After completing their training, every single one of them was chosen to become part of the Praetorian Guard, a feat which had never happened before and never would again.[1]

As of 754 PCE, Demetrius, Rhone, Markus, and Drusilla are the only survivors of their training group.[1]
He made landfall in The Siege of Phobos alongside Lysander au Lune in November 754.[2]
After killing Atlas, Lysander ordered a purge of Gorgons and Atlas's supporters from the ranks of the Praetorian Guard, resulting in Demetrius being shot in the head by Draconis.[3]
