Alexandar au Arcos is the grandson of Lorn au Arcos and a lancer to Darrow O'Lykos during the Solar War.

Appearance[]

Described as a “smirking prodigy,” he is tall and thin with white blond hair that "flutters behind him like a comet tail." a fine jaw, and fair skin.[1] [2]

Skills[]

Alexandar is extremely gifted with a razor and is amongst the best golds of his generation.

Involvement[]

Iron Gold[]

Alexandar is one of the Howlers who accompanies Darrow when he flees Luna to assassinate the Ash Lord. He is part of the team that infiltrates Deepgrave, and goes with Darrow into the prison. While threatening the warden, Alexandar discusses his finery, further implicating the warden in some sort of bribery or other scheme. After the warden's eyes are torn out, he vomits.[3]

Dark Age[]

Alexandar accompanies Darrow to Mercury and participates in The Battle of the Ladon. After Orion goes rogue with the Storm Gods and drowns the city of Tyche, Alexander tells Darrow he wishes to rescue any survivors. Darrow places his own wolf cloak around Alexander slay shoulders and tells him to return it when he is done. Alexander and his Knights save many people from the ruins of Tyche and send them through the tunnels to Heliopolis. Eventually it becomes clear that Alexander won’t be coming through the tunnels with the survivors and Darrow orders them to be collapsed.

He is captured in Tyche by Atlas au Raa who tortures him and his remaining knights. Atlas removes his teeth, ears and inflicts other horrors but Alexander still believes Darrow will come and save him. A new prisoner, Cato au Vitruvius, is brought into the cells and tortured alongside the Knights. He escapes with Cato and the other knights, capturing Atlas while they flee. They steal grav bikes and ride them to Heliopolis. When they reach the city Alexander collapses into Darrow's arms.

Later, Alexander and Rhonna visit Glirastes' estate to thank Cato for his part in their escape. During this time Darrow learns that Cato is actually a disguised Lysander and alerts the pair, telling them to keep his focus. Lysander strikes Rhonna and Alexander challenges him to a duel with their razors. Lysander shoots him in the head, knowing he could not beat Alex. Following Alexandar's death, Lysander activates Glirastes' EMP, triggering the beginning of The Long Night.

Relationships[]

Darrow O’Lykos[]

Alexander met Darrow when he was a young boy training with Lorn in the Willow Way.

Alexander sees Darrow as a father figure and is someone he deeply admires.

Rhonna O’Lykos[]

Initially it appears that Rhonna and Alexander loathe each other. They would often fight with each other and seemed to be competing for Darrows favour. Despite the mutual dislike, they are never far from each others sides. After the Battle of Ladon their relationship develops and it is clear they have feelings for each other.

Sevro au Barca[]

Sevro enjoys teasing Alexander.

Lorn au Arcos[]

Lorn was Alexander’s grandfather.
