During the Institute, Golds are sorted into Houses based on their personality traits and skills.
Each students' House is determined upon their drafting in the Institute, and they stay with that House for life, with many Peerless Scarred keeping their House rings long after their time in the Institute. The Proctor of each House, along with a group of Drafters, selects students for their House. The Drafters, who wear masks to stay anonymous, are prestigious members of that House.
The thirteen houses are Apollo, Bacchus, Ceres, Diana, Juno, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Minerva, Neptune, Pluto, Venus, and Vulcan.
