An Imperator is the commanding officer of a fleet of starships in The Society and its successor states in the Post-Conquering Era.
Role[]
Imperators hold absolute command over a fleet and are responsible for directing their force's battle strategies and movements. They also hold authority over the Legates of the legions that travel with their fleets.
The highest ranking Imperator in the navy is known as the ArchImperator, who also serves as the supreme commander of the entire miltary.
As with most government and military offices of the Post-Conquering Era, the role was restricted to Golds under The Society, but expanded in the Solar Republic to allow the position to be filled by individuals of other colors.
