Julius au Bellona was the grandfather of Cassius au Bellona, and the father of his father, Tiberius au Bellona.
A housewar between Bellona and Augustus broke out when, after a dispite had ensued between Julius au Bellona and Nero au Augustus's father, Nero's father attempted to poison the Bellona family. The plan failed and a housewar broke out that saw the entire Augustus family, except for Nero, executed.
ArchGovernor Cylus of Mars spared young Nero and even raised him in his own court. Twenty years later, Nero asked for Julius au Bellona's favourite daughter, Iona au Bellona's hand in marriage. ArchGovenor Cylus agreed, and they married. However, after the wedding, Nero sent Julius au Bellona his daughter's head in a box, her mouth stuffed with grapes.
