New Thebes is a major city on Mars and the ancestral seat of House Fabii.
Fitchner au Barca and his wife Bryn of Cryssos lived on the outskirts of the city from 719 to 720 PCE.
It was burned by the Ash Lord during the Solar War when it fell under Republic control.

House Fabii has an estate in New Thebes, where Roque was born and raised.[1]
Hall of Blades[]
Presumably a training hall. Lorn au Arcos's words "A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots." are engraved there.[2]
Barca Apartment[]
Fitchner, Bryn, and Rynna lived in an apartment on the outskirts of the city.[3]
History[]
Pre-Saga[]
After moving back to Mars from Triton in 719 PCE, Fitchner au Barca lived in an apartment on the outskirts of New Thebes with his secret wife Bryn of Cryssos and her sister Ryanna. In 720 PCE, the apartment was raided by agents of the Board of Quality Control, who took Bryn into custody along with her and Fitchner's infant son, Sevro. After rescuing Sevro from Whitehold, Fitchner and Ryanna moved to Agea following Byrn's execution.
The Solar War[]
At some point between 747 and 749 PCE, the Solar Republic seized control of New Thebes while liberating Mars from the Society Remnant's control. In retaliation, the Ash Lord nuked the city and completely destroyed it.
In the wake of the city's destruction, several minor Martian families such as House Trachus swore allegiance to the Republic .[4]
