Oro Sculpturus is a Blue and commander of the Solar Republic's defenses on Phobos during the Solar War.

Oro's appearance is lean as a bloodhound, and his eyes are cobalt.[1]

Oro is chosen to replace Orion xe Aquarii as Navarch of the Republic fleet after her death in the Battle of the Ladon.
When Virginia au Augustus drafted the Republic battle strategy for the Siege of Phobos, Oro agreed with Victra au Barca and Phobos's Blue hive that a defensive posture would give the Republic more advantages.
At the beginning of the Siege, Oro oversaw the defense of Phobos from the Nucleus alongside Virginia. When the enemy fleet arrived, Oro argued that the Lightbringer did not pose a true tactical threat since less then a third of its surface guns had been replaced, and its reactor output readings were meager, as well as the fact that its new captain, Pytha xe Virgus, had no reputation.
After the Nucleus's thermal is compromised by Society particle beams, Virginia orders the Nucleus to drop into the hollows, only to discover that the drop shaft is blocked. The air inside the Nucleus begins to superheat from continued enemy fire, leading Virginia to order everyone to head for the emergency lifts. Despite Virginia's order for those with armor to evcuate last, the Lionguard manhandle her toward the lifts first. Oro attempts to follow, but his strength fails before he can make it to the lift. Holiday ti Nakamura tries to drag him through the lift doors with them, but loses her grip as his skin burns off from the heat.
