Paleron au Raa was a Gold of House Raa. He was the fourth son and second-youngest child of Romulus and Dido au Raa.
Personality[]
Paleron is described as a silent boy.[1]
Involvement[]
Iron Gold[]
Lysander au Lune and Cassius au Bellona are introduced to Paleron under their cover identities as Castor and Regulus au Janus when they join House Raa for dinner in Sungrave as an ostensible reward for rescuing Seraphina au Raa from Obsidian pirates in the Asteroid Belt. Diomedes shows Paleron how to remove the bones from his fish dinner while he questions Cassius about his past.
After Romulus is found guilt of treason for knowingly concealing the truth behind the destruction of the Ganymede Dockyards, Paleron joins the rest of his family in saying goodbye to his father. Paleron cries as his father presses their foreheads together, and sobs as he watches Romulus make the trek to the Dragon Tomb.[2]
Light Bringer[]
When Io fell to the forces of Volsung Fá, Paleron was mercy killed by his grandmother Gaia so that he would not be tortured and butchered by the Volk or Ascomanni.[3] Darrow and Diomedes find his body when they infiltrate the ruins of Sungrave to contact the Daughters of Athena using Aurae's communications relay.[4]
