Pandora is a Gold of the Rim and a Venator of the Krypteia.
Appearance[]
As of 753, Pandora is described as withered and aged. She has cruel eyes, the colour of "bitter sulfur." She bears the mark of the Krypteia as an implant on the back of her hand.[1]
Romulus calls her "The Rim's Greatest Servant" when she brings back Seraphina.[2]
Involvement[]
Pre-Saga[]
Prior to the Second Moon Lord Rebellion, Pandora developed a reputation as the Rim's greatest assassin, being referred to as The Ghost of Ilium, and was considered a myth in The Core.[1]
At some point before 753 PCE, she became a member of the Krypteia, the Rim's secret police and intelligence agency.
Iron Gold[]
After Seraphina au Raa infiltrated Republic territory to purchase evidence that Darrow O'Lykos was responsible for the destruction of the Ganymede Dockyards during the Battle of Ilium, Pandora tortured Hjornir on the orders of Marius until the Obsidian told them where Seraphina went.[2]
Once they have Seraphina's return vector, Romulus sends Pandora and Diomedes to the Core in secret to bring her home alive.
When Cassius au Bellona and Lysander au Lune bring Seraphina to Asteroid S-1392 after rescuing her from Obsidian pirates, Pandora and her forces board the Archimedes and capture all aboard. After receiving confirmation that Seraphina is aboard, she orders a Gray to contact Marius and inform him that they've found his sister, and sends one of the Golds under her command to notify Diomedes before he hears the news from anyone else.
After Seraphina is brought out of the Archimedes, Pandora informs her that Ferara is in the hold of the Charybdis while Hjornir was executed. Diomedes holds Pandora back from questioning Seraphina, and places the other prisoners taken from the Archimedes under his protection until Romulus renders judgement. Once Diomedes leaves, Pandora has Cassius, Lysander, Pytha, and the other prisoners taken to the destroyer's brig.
