The Pax, formerly the Vanguard, was a five-kilometer dreadnought that served as Darrow's flagship during The Martian Civil War.
Description[]
The Pax is five kilometers long[1] and has a total of four hangar bays.[2] The forward hangar bay is six hundred meters in length, with hundreds of spitTubes in rows along the left wall, and a network of giant causeways large enough for starShells connecting each row.[3]
The ship possesses at least least eighty rail guns and eight engines.[2]
The ship is designed to be operated by a crew of up to twenty thousand.[4]

Martian Civil War[]
Darrow au Andromedus boarded the Vanguard with Sevro au Barca to secure House Augustus's escape from Luna following The Gala Massacre. After seizing control of the bridge, Darrow gave a speech inciting the lowColors on the ship to seize control from the Golds allied with House Lune before appointing Orion xe Aquarii as the ship's new captain.[4][1]
Second Moon Lord Rebellion[]
After the massacre at Darrow's Triumph, Orion was able to maintain control of the Pax thanks to a quick warning from Virginia, and followed her as she allied her faction of House Augustus with the Moon Lords. During the Second Moon Lord Rebellion, the Pax raided Core shipping routes until eventually linking up with Darrow and The Rising after the Battle of Phobos.[5]
Darrow commanded the Pax during the Battle of Ilium, where it was ultimately destroyed as part of his plan to board and commandeer Roque's moonBreaker.
