The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, the dwarf planets, and small Solar System bodies.

Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System, and closest to the Sun. It is named after the Messenger God in Roman mythology. The inhabitants are known as Mercrurians.

Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun, and the most similar in size to Earth. Named after the Roman God of Love, Venus was originally one of the most inhospitable planets in the Core. The terraforming of Venus begun with hydrogen imported from the Gas Giants inserted into the atmosphere, generating rain and covering her surface in 80% water. Asteroids from the belt were used to increase the planet's rotation speed to match Earth's. The inhabitants are known as Venusians.
