Tamara is the Primus of House Diana in Darrow's year at The Institute.

Involvement[]
Tamara interrogates the captured Darrow and Sevro about why they're in House Diana's territory. Also, like the rest of House Diana, she displays annoyance and disgust towards Tactus au Rath. She has many bodyguards. She negotiates an alliance with House Mars to take down House Minerva as well as House Ceres for bread.
The alliance is successful in taking House Minerva. However, Tamara and House Diana get greedy and attempt to betray Darrow's forces by locking them out of Castle Minerva. This is a mistake as Darrow expects this and hides Sevro and his Howlers inside the castle to foul the water supply while Darrow's forces wait outside the walls. Tamara is embarrassed by being caught in a betrayal and desperately offers ten Minervan slaves to Darrow's messenger, Lea, as a means of peace, but is unsuccessful.
House Diana attempt to escape Castle Minerva at night but are all captured. During this escape attempt, it's reported that Tamara fell from her horse and was trampled to death. Her death is described as suspicious as her saddle was cut through underneath, and it is believed that Tactus was responsible.
