Tharsus au Valii-Rath is the older brother of Tactus au Rath, and younger brother of Apollonius au Valii-Rath. He and Apollonius are said to have a scandalous history of brothels, drugs, murder, and other sinful behavior.

Appearance[]

Tharsus is "a lofty, striking man with blazing eyes and a statue's cheekbones"[1]. He has tattooed fingers, painted nails, and is the only Bonerider not to have a shaved head.

Personality[]

He is described as annoyingly aristocratic, and is greatly elitist and cruel.

Involvement[]

Brothels of the Brothers Rath[]

Becoming a Bonerider[]

Selling out Apollonius[]

Magnus au Grimmus threatened to kill Tharsus if he did not agree to sell out Apollonius. Tharsus accepted in order to save himself and keep his family name alive.[2] Magnus then kept Tharsus on the sidelines as a political puppet so the Valii-Rath legions could be disbanded, the soldiers conscripted to the Ash Armada, and the family's riches drained to the Ash Lord.[3]

Return of a Brother[]

Tactus au Rath[]

Apollonius au Valii-Rath[]

Tharsus loves his older brother, but is also scared of him. During their reunion in Iron Gold, Tharsus attempts to convince Apollonius he tried to rescue him from Deepgrave (this claim is later proven false) to stay on Apollonius' good side. He believes Apollonius is mad, but apologizes profusely when it is proven that he sold out the Valii-Rath house to the Ash Lord.[2]

Allies[]

Adrius au Augustus[]

Tharsus was one of Adrius' Boneriders. Apollonius claims Adrius treasured Tharsus' cruelty.[2]
