An Ambi-Rifle is a high-powered multipurpose carbine weapon.[1] They are gas-powered and therefore unaffected by EMPs.[2]

Blackspår[]

A Blackspår is a type of spear made and used by the Ascomanni. The hafts are made from sleek black metal etched with runes, while the black heads are made of metal onixium, an ore found only inside the Kuiper Belt. The material is nearly a match for polyenne fiber mixed with carbon, and can pierce straight trough a pulseShield or a ship's hull.[3]

DuroSteel sword[]

DuroSteel swords are straight, double-edged weapons with a blade length of 30 inches that are made from duroSteel

GravRifle[]

A GravRifle is a gun that fires an incredibly strong concussive non-lethal blast that sends it's target up to 20 meters back.

IonArrow[]

An ionArrow is a projectile shot from a bow that delivers an ion charge to the target. It consists a slender shaft, a pointed ion charged arrowhead, plastic fletching, and a nock.

IonBlade[]

An ionBlade is a type of sword that has an ion charge to electrocute targets with a touch. It is a straight, double-edged weapon with a blade length of 30 inches. IonBlades are much stronger than regular steel blades and are used by duelists and knights of The Society. They can break regular metals and armor apart relatively easily, and its ion charge can cauterize wounds instantly.

Darrow and Cassius dueled with ionBlades in The Institute, where Darrow realized that his regular sickle would be of little use to him against one.

IonDagger[]

An ionDagger is a shorter variant of the ionBlade, with a blade length of 12 inches.

IonPike[]

An ionPike pole weapon with a very long thrusting spear that has an ion charge running through the blade.

KnifeRing[]

A knifeRing is an type of blade designed to be concealed inside a ring before extending outward eight inches when the user flexes the join.[6]

Dancer O'Faran gave Darrow his knifeRing before the latter's departure for The Institute, and Darrow later used to kill Proctor Apollo after it was returned to him by Lorn au Arcos

Landmine Spikes[]

Landmine Spikes are a type of minaturized bomb that explode in a three-tiered blast. First is a concussive blast that disables pulseShields and sends its victims into the air. Then a gravPit activates and pulls them back towards the source of the explosion. Finally, a kinetic blast destroys armor, bone and flesh while blowing them outward into the air and scattering them into pieces. The spikes are colored black and as long as a fingernail.[7]

MultiPistol[]

A MultiPistol is a multi-purpose pistol. Some uses are stun rounds.

MultiRifle[]

A MultiRifle short-stocked and narrow barreled rifle with the capability of firing a multitude of ammunition types.

Omnivore-540[]

The Omnivore-540 is a hand held Semi-automatic railgun powered by rechargeable ion cells that drive the round along patented parallel reactive conductors. It has an adjustable internal diameter and is multi-caliber friendly with an autonomous forge inside the magazine capable of generating new ammunition from any metal inserted into it.

The weapon was manufactured by Titan Arms, and only 20,000 were made.

Plasma Pistol[]

A very loud and indiscriminate pistol that fires green bolts of plasma.

Plasma Rifle[]

A Plasma Rifle is a long dark rifle that fires balls of plasma at a target that rip through a human, killing them instantly. The plasma is produced by an ammunition globle and glows with an acid-green light.

PulseAxe[]

A pulseAxe is a large pole weapon with concentrated pulse energy coursing through its narrow slicing blade.

PluseBlade[]

Similar to an ionBlade, the pulseBlade is typically a straight double-edged weapon with a blade length of 30 inches that has pulse energy running through it's blade.

PulseCannon[]

A pulseCannon is a firearm that launches superheated pulses. It is a common armament on a starShell.

PulseFist[]

A pulseFist is a gauntlet-mounted direct energy weapon that generates blasts of pulse energy. They most likely rely on generating laser or microwave beams which in turn ablates the target with exploding plasma, generating a high-temperature blast. PulseFist blasts are hot enough to instantly melt snow and ice, start fires, pulverize stone, and burn people to death. When fired at a high enough frequency, enough puleFist blasts can eventually overload the target's shields.

PulseFists are the most widely used ranged weapons in combat between Golds. They can be implanted into the arm of a pulseArmor suit or wielded separately, though non-implanted pulse fists can still be synched with the armor of the wearer. Implanting pulseFists into armor allows the use'rs helmet to tell them the best locations to shoot at an opponent's armor.

Pulsefists are able to go from semi-auto to automatic, able to fire round after round. Firing too much can result in entire weapon melting and caving in on itself. It can take dozens of rounds for a pulseshield to cave under its fire. Pulsefists can be made to look like things like a dragon's mouth.

PulseGrenade[]

A pulseGrenade is a small bomb that explodes in a burst of pulse energy, and has enough force to kill everyone in a room, even while armored.

PulseHammer[]

A pulseHammer, also called a powerHammer, is a large warhammer with pulse energy coursing through its head.

PulseRifle[]

A pulseRifle is an assault rifle that fires bullets of concentrated pulse energy.

PulseRocket[]

A pulseRocket can shoot down a ship.

PulseSpear[]

A pulseSpear is a pole weapon with a long shaft and concentrated pulse energy coursing through its pointed tip.

QR-13[]

The QR-13 is a typically mounted heavy weapon commonly placed upon a floating gravPod.

R-34 Widowmaker[]

The R-34 Widowmaker A close quarters weapon that fires ion pellets. Its name is potentially an Easter egg referencing the "Rule 34" images of Overwatch character Widowmaker.

RailRifle[]

A railRifle is a miniatruized railgun designed for individual use. They possess magnetic ammunition and can overload almost any type of shields. With the shields gone, they can even penetrate the finest of armors.

RecoilRifle[]

A recoilRifle is a repeating assault rifle that has the capacity to penetrate most armors.

Sarissa Missle Launcher[]

A Sarissa Missile Launcherlarge shoulder-mounted missile launcher capable of downing a shuttle with singular shot.

During the Battle of Phobos, Ragnar Volarus fires a sarissa missile from the cargo bay of their crashing ship. He hits and downs the ship carrying Cassius and Aja.

The sarrisa missile launcher is possibly named for sarissa ants (unconfirmed), but more likely named for a type of long spear used by Macedonian infantry while in phalanx formation.

ScatterFlash[]

A scatterFlash is a type of flash grenade that can fry any unshielded optic nerves and activates every photo receptor cell in the eyes of anyone caught in the blast radius.

Scorcher[]

A scorcher is a type of low-powered gun that operate similarly to railguns but are not as powerful. Scorchers lack the power to pierce advanced shielding and armor, only being able to penetrate through basic armors. They are said to have an oily smell, and emit a whirring charge up sound (presumably the charge-up of electrical capacitors) before they are ready to fire. Holiday ti Nakamura claims that Scorchers are more accurate and easier to use than gunpowder-based weapons.

Slug Shooter[]

A slug shooter is an old-fashioned gun-powder based pistol which is immune to EMPs. Trigg ti Nakamura uses one while rescuing Darrow from Attica.

Sonic Detonator[]

A sonic detonator is a device that emits high frequency sound waves that knock individuals back, disorient them, and temporarily deafen them.

StunFist[]

A stunFist is a glove or gauntlet that allows the wearer to shoot concussive blasts from their knuckles. Unlike pulseFists, these blasts are non-lethal, and have a similar effect to that of a taser when used on someone without a shield, making them fall to the ground limp (sometimes unconscious, as demonstrated on Nero au Augustus during The Gala Massacre).[8]

StunGrenade[]

A stunGrenade is a magnetic, non-lethal grenade that renders it's target unconscious.

StunPike[]

The stunPike is a generally non-lethal poleaxe used to electrocute whoever it hits. It consists of a longarm pike with a blue tip atop it, and is mostly used by Grays, Obsidians, and Golds in the Institute.

TacNet[]

A TacNet, also known as a Birdcage, is a type of net used to subdue captivies. They are fired from compressed fiber cartridges and designed to engulf and constrict around a prisoner to harmlessly subdue them. However, toggling with the contraction restrictions allows the user to eviscerate their prisoner to death.

Thumper[]

A thumper is a stun-baton that crackles with intense electricity.

Uranium Rifle[]

A Uranium Rifle is a gun that fires depleted uranium rounds which can easily rip through a starShell.

Ammunition[]

A MicroShot is a type of munition used during the Post-Conquering Era. Each round is made up of thirty tiny bombs that are released in a scattered formation like a swarm of hornets after being fired.[9]

Painball[]

Painballs are a type of ammo fired from scorchers. They are designed for crowd control.[10]

Scatterwave[]

Scatterwaves are a type of ammo fired from scorchers. They are commonly used to non-lethally disperse crowds.[10]

Venom Paralytic Rounds[]

Venom Paralytic Roudns are a type of ammo fired from an assault rifle (most likely a multiRifle) that paralyze their targets.

Armor[]

Aegis[]

The Aegis is a buckler that projects an oval-shaped energy shield. They are commonly employed by Golds in single combat, specifically in duels of honor. They can be used in battle but against other Golds or Obsidians, a PulseShield offers more-comprehensive defensive coverage.

DemonHelm[]

A demonHelm is a pupil black helm that’s shaped subtly like a screaming demon face. It allows the user to see most spectrums, mask their voice, amplify sound, track coordinates, access maps and communicate silently.

DuroArmor[]

duroArmor is the basic equipment given to Grays. They are not very effective, capable of only stopping basic weapons like blades, and maybe ion blades. Razors and pulseBlades can pierce right through them.

DurosteelArmor[]

DurosteelArmor is a lightweight piece of armor typically consisting of a cuirass and a vambrace with the capability to deflect any edge less than an ionBlade or razor.

Grasshopper Suits[]

Grasshopper suits are a type of armored suit used for propelling the user up to 5+ meters in the air. The suit receives its namesake from its crooked elongated legs that pivot backwards along a joint behind the knee when the user jumps.

IonArmor[]

IonArmor is a type of armor specifically designed to protect against ion-based weaponry.

PulseArmor[]

A highly protective armor with a built in pulseShield generator. it is most commonly seen used in shorter battles as the pulseshield can and will overheat if the pulseshield is damaged too heavily. it can be used along with grav boots like recoilarmor, but unlike recoilarmor it provides complete protection at the cost of duration in battle.

GodKiller[]

Godkiller is a type of pulseArmor developed by Regulus ag Sun in the later years of the Solar War. The suit is light, fast, and sealthy without sacrificing power. The armor's power generator is updated and can allow the suit to operate for days on end. Godkilled suits have three primary modes of power usage:[11]

  • Reptile mode, designed to run cold for stealth missions.
  • Lupine mode, for regular use
  • Titan mode, described by Quicksilver as being "to kill gods."

RecoilPlate[]

RecoilPlate is a type of armor worn underneath a starShell. It is heavy and slows down movement.[12]

ScarabSkin[]

ScarabSkin is a type of tightly fitted armor that takes in light and renders itself pitch-black. It is a full body suit with a removable mask/helmet that portrays a demonic visage with pitless, insectoid eyes. ScarabSkin doesn't emit a thermal signature, enables rapid movement and is slightly more durable than duroArmor, as it can stop some blades and projectile weapons. It is not battery powered which makes it immune to EMPs.

ScarabSkin is a favorite of the Howlers and other elite units.

LizardSkin[]

LizardSkin is a variant of ScarabSkin designed to be lighter and thinner for desert conditions, making it more sustainable long-term in such environments.

SealSkin[]

SealSkin is a variant of scarabSkin designed for polar temperatures and water immersion. It consists of a full body suit with a removable balaclava. The design is mottled white and looks oily except for textured grips on the elbows, gloves, buttocks and knees. SealSkin is immune to digital component failure and doesn’t need batteries.[13]

Darrow and his team wear SealSkin when visiting the Martian south pole during the Battle of Phobos.
