Whitehold is a series of prison and administrative complexes operated by the Board of Quality Control that serves as the local headquarters of the Board for each planet and moon in the Solar System.

Mars Facility[]
The Whitehold facility on Mars is located on the eastern shore of the Apollonian continent, and is connected to the capital of Agea in the Valles Marineris through a series of underground tunnels that supply electricity to the compound.

Sons of Ares, Volume 1[]
Fitchner au Barca's mother brought him to the Martian branch of Whitehold after his birth in 690 PCE, where the Board of Quality Control put him through The Exposure.[1]
In 720 PCE, Bryn of Cryssos was arrested by the Board for reproducing with a Gold and taken to the Whitehold campus on Mars for interrogation.[2] The original Sons of Ares, led by her husband Fitchner, infiltrated the facility through the electricity supply tunnels under Agea in an attempt to rescue her.
