Zarubal is a Violet from Mars working as a Carver on the east side of Agea.

Sons of Ares, Volume 1[]
In late 719 PCE, Zarubal is hired by Fitchner au Barca to modify the Fallopian tubes of his Red wife Bryn so that the two of them can have a baby together. His services allow them to conceive their son Sevro,[1] and he later served as a midwife for Sevro's birth.[2]
In November 720, Zarubal is arrested by the Board of Quality Control for some work he had done on an Obsidian gladiator. Arturius au Vardan interrogates him, and he rats out Bryn and Fitchner in exchange for a reduced sentence.[3][4]
Sons of Ares, Volume 2[]
Between 720 and 721, Regulus ag Sun begins funneling significant amounts of money to Zarubal and several other carvers.[2]
Upon discovering this, Fitchner visits Zarubal's shop to learn why Quicksilver is so interested in him, thinking that his employer is looking to get rid of him. Zarubal initially denies any knowledge of Quicksilver, but relents when Fitchner attacks him with his razor. Zarubal explains that Quicksilver is paying him and other carvers to conduct genetic research into mixed-color offspring and genetic adaptations such as increased radiation resistance, metabolic efficacy, and improved stamina. After informing Fitchner that Quicksilver is looking to adapt for years' long space flights, Zarubal seals the wound on his cheek.[2]
